Theme – I’m the Missionary
Where – Elkdale Baptist Church, Selma AL
UNITED For the City 2024 is a Missions + Discipleship Camp for students in grades 7-12. UNITED leads this community by training students to share their faith & serve Selma's children and adults through week-long mission projects. Those opportunities include Children’s, Social ministries and Sports Camps.
Cost (7-12th grades)- $100
● All meals & transportation from Sunday night through Friday
● Lodging for the week at Elkdale Baptist Church with genders separated by buildings and individual stall shower trailers
● All materials for UNITED ministry sites & Disciplemaking manual
● T-Shirt and other SWAG!
Camp Pastor– Caleb Winningham is the Pastor of Valley Grande Baptist here in our area. He is excited about motivating students through God’s Word to share the reason for our hope! This will be his 2nd year with the UNITED Family!
Worship Leader– Andrew Morris is a graduate of Samford U. and is one of the Worship Pastors at FBC Trussville. He has a tremendous heart for worship, but when he’s not leading worship Andrew loves to write music, and play basketball. Andrew is excited to become a part of the UNITED Family and bring alongside some talented musicians to lead UNITED in worship! Welcome Andrew!
Other Speakers– Charlie Windham is the Music & Youth Pastor at Hillcrest Baptist in Maplesville. This will be his 3rd year with the UNITED Family & he enjoys training students to share their faith!
Camp Director– JB Brown serves as Student & Education Pastor at Elkdale/ host church. As the co-founder of UNITED, he is passionate about having the best of camp- missions + discipleship and bringing people together for the Gospel!
