Children
At Elkdale, all our ministries are designed to point people to Jesus. And kids are no different! At Elkdale, we strive to to maintain an engaging and fun Christ-centered environment for kids to grow in Jesus. And we seek to partner with parents to equip them with tools to lead their children along their faith journey.
We have dedicated spaces for nursery, pre-school, and elementary age kids.
Weekly Activities
Sunday
Sunday School
Every Sunday morning from 9:45am - 10:45am, kids age 2 through 6th grade are taught the Bible with other kids their own age. Grades 1-6 meet in the Children’s Building. And kids age 2 through 5 meet in the preschool area behind the sanctuary. Nursery is also provided for kids under 2.
Children’s Church
During both morning services, kids age 4 through first grade are invited down to the front of the sanctuary to be led to the 4-year old Sunday School room where they will study God’s Word and learn how Jesus is the hero of every Bible story. Parents can pick up kids after the service is over.
Wednesday
M3 - Music, Missions, and More
On Wednesdays (5:30 - 7:00) during the Fall and Spring semesters, kids from age 3 - 6th grade will gather in their spaces for fun and engaging activities. At M3, kids will engage in making music, recreation, and learning about God’s mission in our world and how Elkdale is a part of it.
