Students (7th-12th grades)

At Elkdale, we desire to provide a place for teenagers to be loved and accepted while being challenged by the Gospel. We use recreational time to enjoy God and His creation, and serious time to seek after God and grow our faith in Him.

We also strive to equip parents with the tools they need to lead their students to glorify Christ. After all, parents are the primary influence in their student's life.

Sunday School

Between our morning services, at 9:45 am, Sunday School is offered to people of all ages. Our student small groups meet separately by 7th - 9th grade girls and guys, and also 10th - 12th grade girls and guys. All four groups are held in the Youth Building (accessed by the Fellowship Hall parking lot).

This is a time for all grades to study God's Word. We strive to balance equipping students with a God-centered worldview and helping them see the practical application of putting God at the center of their lives. Our goal is to train students to feed themselves by correctly interpreting Scripture and applying it to their lives daily.

Wednesday Night Worship + Bible Study

On Wednesday nights during the school year, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Student Bible Study for grades 7-12 is held in the Youth Building. This is a great opportunity for students to connect and form real relationships. Students will encounter God in a time a musical worship and Bible teaching, then split up into small groups to build relationships and gain accountability in understanding.
